bakemonogatari
The first entry in what would later become the Monogatari_(series) series of light novels, written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by VOFAN. It was made into an anime by Shaft (company) in July 2009. The story is school life that centers on vampires, apparitions, gods, ghosts, myths, and spirits.
